[COVERAGE] Big Bang 2015 World Tour [Made] In Malaysia

The long awaited BIGBANG 2015 WORLD TOUR 'MADE' in Kuala Lumpur at the Putra Indoor Stadium in Bukit Jalil organised by IME Productions. Supported by Malaysia Major Events, a division of Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau, an agency under the Ministry of Tourism and Culture.

The concert starts with an intro video that resembles of an action movie to pump up the crowd, following with a second intro video #RED. VIPs with their light sticks in hand screamed in excitement as the lights started to flicker. T.O.P, G-DRAGON, TAEYANG, DAESUNG and SEUNGRI emerged from the dark singing “BANG BANG BANG” – electro vibe and addicting beats. The boys sang “Tonight” and “Stupid Liar” from their 2011 album.

The technical side of the concert was flawless and it flows well with each performance. With revolving stages, props and lights. Following up was their chart-topping hit “하루 하루” from 2008. Towards the end of the song, the boys paused and let the crowd. In between of a couple of performances, a video will be played for the fans. Right after Haru Haru, a video of TOP was played for the crowd to enjoy. Up next, “Loser” from their MADE series and “Blue”. The boys appeared on a revolving stage as they posed and sang soulfully.

Taeyang expressed that Malaysia is one of his favourite place in the world, also asking VIPs if they misses him because he misses the fans a lot. Adding on with “I love you Malaysia with the bottom of my heart”.  Seungri greeted the fans and said he loves Malaysian food, weather and the ladies. Also stating the he loves the energy of the fans. Daesung creates laughter from the fans by saying “Saya tak boleh Nampak” (translation – I can’t see) and because he can’t see the fans, he needs to hear them. TOP greeted the fans with “Kamu Bagus” (translations – You’re good). G-Dragon then asked the fans that he heard Malaysian VIPs can sing very well and asked the fans to sing along with them. G-Dragon started to sing Bad Boy and as the crowd sang along, the boys started their “Bad Boy” performance.

After a video of G-Dragon is played, the boys got back on stage with a new set of changed clothes and sang “IF YOU” and “LIES” showcasing their powerful vocals and rap once again. A video of SeungRi is played to tease the fans as the next performance is Seungri solo performance of “Strong Baby” and “Let’s Talk about Love” feat. G-Dragon and TaeYang. Next, a video of DaeSung. DaeSung then appeared on stage with his hair parted and sang “WINGS”, his voice powerful as lightning strikes the heart of the fans as he sing ever so passionately. Then it was TOP’s solo performance of “DOOM DADA” dressed in a suit of what resembles a Piet Mondrian painting. His rap is definitely a masterpiece complementing his suit.

The final video feat TaeYang was shown to get the fans excited for TaeYang’s solo performance of “EYES NOSE LIPS”, fans got to listen to him as he pours his soul into singing. G-Dragon had a rap session of his own. TaeYang and G-Dragon performed “GOOD BOY” incorporating dance moves that makes the crowd even more pump up! “CROOKED” was next and G-Dragon owns the stage as he raps like there’s no tomorrow which leaves the crowd shouting for more. DaeSung appeared on stage once again and this time, with a set of drums. He rocked the stage and the rest of the boys appeared and started to sing “SOBER”, as Billboard describe it as a spunky delivery and high-energy rock sound.

Right after a Fan-Video was played, the second song of the MADE series “BAE BAE” was performed with a large statue that resembles of the one in the music video could be seen on stage along with the boys as they sang and rap. During the encore, the boys performed “FANTASTIC BABY” which is currently their highest viewed music video on YouTube with 160 million views and counting. The crowd stood up and started singing along loud. The encore also included “WE LIKE 2 PARTY” and “HANDS UP”. The Concert comes to an end with the performer’s introduction and an ending credit video. The concert was memorable and should not be missed if you enjoy energetic with a soulful twist music.
