Jakarta (02/02) – Successfully held a showcase in Medan last year, UKISS visited Indonesiaagain yesterday. In contrast to the original plan to hold a showcase and fan party, this time UKISS came to hold a charity event and showed their concern by visiting the flood victims directly.

Located at fX Sudirman on January 1, UKISSSoohyun and Kevinheld a joint press conference withOppa Oppa Live, Wahana Visi Indonesia (World Vision Indonesia) and Bank Mutiara toexplain about rescheduling showcase and charity session in Jakarta.

Oppa Oppa Live as the event organizers confirmed that reschedule is a difficult decision to be taken for the good of all parties, asking for understanding from fans. The "2013 UKISS Showcase & FanParty in Jakarta" that should be hold on February 1-2 had to be rescheduled to April 26-27, 2013 due to bad weather, the safety of fans and not a good timing consideration. "Showcase had to be rescheduled. But there is no change in terms of concept and benefit tickets. We thank you for your support and understanding. In addition, each Rp 10.000, -from tickets sold will be donated to the flood victims, through WVI," said KimYoung Hoon from OppaOppa Live. Donations will be managed by Wahana Visi Indonesia- partner World Vision, a humanitarian organization that focuses on children and have experience responding to natural disasters.

UKISS Kevin explains that they know the condition of Jakartafrom internet and concerned about thecondition of Indonesian fans. Although rescheduleis very difficult for them as well, Kevin hopesfans understand this decision because UKISS love them. "We want the world to know about Indonesia’s condition, that's why we came here. We are sorry because not all members can come this time, "said UKISS Soohyun. Although only Soohyun and Kevin were able to attend, butall members of UKISS give a message toIndonesian fans through a video, which uploaded on their official youtube account. They hope fans Indonesiaare okay, stay strong and looking forward to meet again in the upcoming showcase in April.

In the next session, titled "Charity Session with UKISS and Bank Mutiara", UKISS donated 20 copies of their autograph seventh mini-album 'Stop Girl' and 2 signed favorite clothes from Soohyun & Kevin. In a short time, Soohyun and Kevin managed to auction off 2 albums with total sales of Rp 3.500.000, -. The rest of album and clothes will be auctioned online at www.oppaoppalive.com. The entire auction results will be distributed to the flood victims through WVI. This session open for public, expected to inspire the fans to participate in helping and sharing with others.

In addition to reschedule the concert and held an auction, UKISS visited refugees in post Penjaringan, North Jakarta. Accompanied by WVI, Soohyun and Kevin distribute stationery and toys to children in refugee camps. Together with UKISS, Bank Mutiara implement CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) to provide direct assistance to ease the burden of child victims of floods that hit Jakarta, particularly Pluit.

Greeted cheerfully by children, UKISS could not hide their shock with that high enthusiasm. Kids representatives give a thank you note and a portrait gift to UKISS, and even teach Indonesian children's song called 'My Hat is Round'. Soohyun and Kevin were playing and entertained children of flood victims happily, despite the language barrier between them.

Soohyun and Kevin also reveal their thoughts after visiting this charity, "We are excited to be able to interact directly with them. But unfortunately it’s only for a while, short time. This charity visit means a lot to us, and also reminds us to be more grateful. Even in difficult situation, the kids are still smiling." UKISS hopes their visit could give encouragement to children and inspire others to share with others.

Kevin thanks fans who came to the charity session and glad to have a chance to visit Indonesia. "Thank you for coming and support us. We are happy to see you. We want to share and slightly ease your burden, so be strong and fighting!” said Kevin.

"We appreciate the care and concern from UKISS, who come all the way from Korea and are willing to sacrifice his concert schedule shift. Not many celebrities have similar sensitivity, even going down directly to evacuation shelters. Hopefully UKISS concern could be the inspiration for others to share, "said Priscilla Christin, Donor Acquisition Manager, Wahana Visi Indonesia.

Oppa Oppa Live thanked for all support and understanding from everyone for this rescheduling and charity event. "Thank you for all your support and understanding. Despite many shortcomings, the event can run smoothly because of the help of many parties. May the good intentions of this event can be received well by everyone. Thanks to Bank Mutiara, Wahana Visi Indonesia, UKISS and especially the fans who have supported this event. See you in UKISS Showcase & Fan Party in Jakartaon 26-27 April. "

Till next time,

Pihak WVI pun berterima kasih atas kunjungan UKISS.
