KUALA LUMPUR, 23 JULY – Last night fans of Anne-Marie were treated to a fun-filled show as she made her debut in Malaysia! Performing songs off her debut album ‘Speak Your Mind’ and some of her best collaboration hits, the Essex-born pop star got the crowd pumped up from start to end!

First up, opening acts and Warner Music Malaysia domestic artists Amir Hasan, Bunga and Layla Sania treated the crowd to a fun cover of Rudimental’s smash-hit ‘These Days’ ft. Jess Glynne, Macklemore and Dan Caplen. Next up was Malaysian superstar Andi Bernadee, who performed his hit singles ‘Satu Peluang’ and ‘Donde’ to hype the crowd up for Anne-Marie!

Kicking things off with her break-up banger ‘Ciao Adios’, Anne-Marie greeted the crowd with an “Apa khabar?!” and jumped right into the song. Next up on her list was the more somber ‘Cry’ and she moved on to one of her earliest singles ‘Do It Right’. Showing off her more fun side she got the crowd jumping with fan-favorites ‘Bad Girlfriend’ and ‘Alarm’. Right after she shows off how versatile she is an artist by jumping into the infectious track ‘Heavy’ before moving to self-love anthem ‘Perfect To Me.’ She introduces the song by giving a speech about how important it is to love yourself and it’s okay to be different because you never want to be like others. To echo the sentiment of empowerment, she performs ‘Can I Get Your Number?’ next and jumps right into one of her best collaborative tracks ‘Let Me Live’ which she is featured in  with long-time collaborators Rudimental and Major Lazer. Next up was ‘Trigger’ as she got the crowd involved by teaching them to throw up hand signs as they screamed the chorus together. ‘Then’ was the final electro ballad before ending the show with her top 3 singles. The crowd was the loudest when she performed smash-hits  ‘Rockabye’ and ‘2002’ as they sang along to every word. Before the last song, she ran backstage to change into a Malaysian jersey a fan had gifted her before the show! She ended the show on a high-note with her collaboration track with DJ/producer Marshmello ‘FRIENDS’.

Anne-Marie Live In Malaysia 2019 was co-organized by Lazada Malaysia, Warner Music Malaysia and Nasty Inc. Special thanks to official media partners HITZ & MIX from Astro, official hotel partner W Hotel Kuala Lumpur, and official F&B partners Ruyi & Lyn and Sukasucre Bistro.
